    Your browser sends 64 MiB chunks directly to Cloudflare R2. Nothing is proxied, stalled parts retry themselves, and a closed tab resumes where it stopped.

    Share a link that expires

    Copy it into WhatsApp, iMessage, email or Slack. It unfurls as a preview card, downloads without an account, and dies on the date you picked.

3 days on Free, up to 90 on Studio. When the clock runs out, storage lifecycle rules delete the objects — expiry is not a cron job that can fail.

A kill switch on every link

Sent it to the wrong person? Revoke it from the dashboard. The link stops resolving immediately and the files are removed.

Downloads that survive a bad connection

Range requests are supported end to end, so a 50 GB download resumes instead of restarting. Multi-file transfers stream as a single ZIP.

Resumable uploads

Questions people actually ask

What happens when a link expires?
The link stops working and the files are deleted. Expiry is enforced by the storage layer itself — each transfer is written under a retention prefix and Cloudflare R2 lifecycle rules delete that prefix on schedule, so nothing lingers because a cleanup job failed to run. The link is also refused the moment it passes its expiry, even before the object is collected. Free links live 3 days, Lite 7, Pro up to 30 and Studio up to 90 — on Pro and Studio you pick the number when you send.
How big a file can I send?
Up to 2 GB on Free, 5 GB on Lite, 50 GB on Pro and 250 GB per transfer on Studio. That is the cap for a single transfer; your plan also has a total live-storage allowance, and expired transfers give their space back automatically. Need one-off headroom? A 100 GB top-up is $7.99 and lasts 30 days.
Do recipients need an account?
No. They open the link and download. On a desktop browser the download starts on its own; on a phone the page shows a button per file. Large downloads support HTTP Range, so a dropped connection resumes instead of starting over.
Who can see my files?
Anyone holding the link, which is why the token is 128 bits of randomness — it is not guessable and it is never listed anywhere. We do not scan, index or sell the contents of your transfers. If you share a link by mistake, the kill switch on your dashboard revokes it immediately and deletes the objects. Read the privacy policy for the full detail.
Can I cancel any time?
Yes. If you subscribed on the web, cancel from Settings — it opens the billing portal run by our payment provider. If you subscribed inside the iPhone or iPad app, Apple manages the subscription and you cancel in the App Store, which we link you to. Either way your plan runs to the end of the period you already paid for.
Does a subscription bought on iPhone work on the web?
Yes. Your plan belongs to your ChuteDrop account, not to the device that paid for it. Sign in with the same Apple ID or email address on the web and everything you paid for is there.
Is my upload resumable?
Uploads are chunked into 64 MiB parts and sent straight to storage, so a stalled part is retried on its own. If you close the tab mid-upload, re-pick the same files and ChuteDrop asks the server which parts already landed and continues from there instead of starting an 80 GB transfer again.
Something abusive was shared with a ChuteDrop link. Who do I tell?
Use the abuse and DMCA form or write to support@mattmade.ai. Every link page carries a report control. Confirmed reports get the link revoked and the objects deleted.
